Andrei Ivascu » Post Production Services

With whom have you worked so far?

Over the years I had the pleasure to do retouching and post-production work for brands like: Cartier, Chanel, Calvin Klein, L’Oreal, Gucci, Lexus, Canon, Karen Millen, IKEA, Pepsi, Lacoste, Samsung, Tiffany & Co, Tory Burch, Douglas, Louis Vuitton and magazines like: Vogue, Elle, Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar, L’Officiel, Marie Claire and Esquire.

Most of these jobs came from well known photographers such as Mazen AbuSrour, Camilla Armbrust, Laurence Ellis, Stefan Imielski and production companies such as ShotView GmbH, Meraki, WeLoveHop and Sanguine FZ.

What's your workflow from start to finish?

The projects that require just one piece of software from inception to completion are rare and far in between, which is why I became proficient at using multiple tools over the years.

For raw development I use CaptureOne, but upon request I can work in CameraRaw as well. Then I transition to Photoshop – this is the place where most of the work and all kinds of shenanigans are happening. For fine color adjustments I prefer to temporarily take the shots inside DaVinci Resolve

Every stroke is made on a Wacom graphic tablet.

Post-production as an extended marathon.

Similar to any other creative craft, progression occurs only by putting in the hours and treating the process as a marathon rather than a quick sprint.

Most of my professional relationships and connections are lengthy and longstanding. I care about delivering good work and people naturally come back as a result.

This has to be my biggest flex, or at least the one that’s the most meaningful to me.
